The diamond league almost mirrored their performances in the Paris finals. He probably knew what was coming from then. Im just sad that he never got over the 5.95 since. Still, being 4th was a great improvement from 11th in Tokyo. Something not many can achieve. I hope he inspired a lot of young Filipinos to follow his footsteps. And who knows, he might still still have a shot in LA 2028. He'll be 32 but Sam Kendricks won his silver at 31, so age shouldn't be a big factor. Though only EJ can ultimately answer that. Thank you EJ for that wonderful performance! Mabuhay! 🇵🇭
